I hate Christmas.

Christmas in Montreal. Should be pretty cool. Except that this was the year I found out that I do not like christmas. In fact I hate it. Here are my reasons.

Reason 1: I greatly dislike surprises. Plain and simple.

Reason 2: I haven't had a christmas with my whole family since I can't even remember. This year especially.

Reason 3: It's a silly materialistic holiday. If I have to spend money to tell you how much I care about you, then our relashionship isn't true.

We sat around before midnight of the 24th and opened presents. I said I didn't want one, but Lyly bought one anyways. I'm not a stupid girl who says things with double meanings. If I say i don't want something, then I don't want it. But I had things forced on me and I had to fake enthusiasm. My fake enthusiasm was about as good as my skills in Korean. Not very good at all. Almost non-existant. The next day, we had to find our presents that our secret Santa bought us. I couldn't find my first clue and sat around for and hour and a half waititng for my person to get up. But I did like my present. (Thank you Courtney) The rest of the day we prepared supper and then got accused of not being welcoming because one of our group members decided to stay in her room. Not a happy time, for anyone.

In other news, Brigitte quit so we're down to 9 people now. Our new project leader is so amazing. So much nicer than my last one. And PEI is beautiful and has really strong wind. I don't mind though, it's only like a 5 minute walk from the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. I'm going to be the head chef, cooking meals everyday for between 50-70 people. It's so cool. Anyway, I'm really tired. Off to bed with me. Messages WILL follow. I'll force myself.
