Greetings from Stonewall! Named after the famous Stonewall Jackson, and sits at a higher elevation than the Golden Boy on the parliament buildings with limestone quarries by the mile. I've checked out possible volunteer opportunities here and I've narrowed it down to Rosewood, a home for senior citizens, Stonewall Collegiate Institute or the Marsh. And if not those, the rest are pretty sweet. I'll let you know which one I get.
The house is freaking amazing. It's pink stucco and blue siding on the outside. And we have a fish! But it died....so we bought a new one! :D Hooray for the circle of life!
And the flights weren't that bad. We flew from Charlottetown to Ottawa, then to Winnipeg. We started our day at 7:30 am PEI time, and ended at 11 pm Manitoba time (1 am PEI time) Long day. Woot! I'm still so tired...I was so wired yesterday too...to the point of breaking out in random dance and Sesame Street tunes about bananas. Then I had an Ice Capp.... oh boy. I was very obnoxious to say the least. It was great. Now I am off to do some other stuff.
