Yesterday I made cheeseburger pie for the soup kitchen. I made it all my myself too. It was amazing! I had a taste and it tasted awesome. It went over well too. My boss loved it and, apparentyl, I'm making it 2 more times before I leave for Manitoba. Ridiculous.
Today we had fish and potatoes and veggies. And a school group made us some Triffle. Oh my Lord, it was so good! It had brownie and cheesecake and whipped cream and Scor bar...it was heaven in 2 bowls. Just delightful. I could hardly contain myself.
We went to a Global Jam in Charlottetown last night. There were these guys doing a drum circle, and then Wendy played some Irish flute accompanied by Tony on guitar. Then the Wellington Katimavik group had a couple of their guys go up and play some songs. We danced a traditional Japanese dance, then we did the Katima-jig and the Cadillac Ranch. Good times were had by all.
In other news, Parry Sound Tim's camp is trying to set up an interview for nest week. She had a little bit of a hard time understanding that I work from 8:30-5:00 and therefore could not hae my interview during the day. And the camp in Alberta says that they'll interview me early March. Things are falling into place.
Other than that, there isn't a whole lot going on, except that there is hardly anyfood in the house. The housemanagers for the week, in my opinion, didn't buy enough food. Last night for supper the vegetarians had beans, carrots, and brocolli. The non-vegetarians had that and some chicken. There was no complete protein, there was no complete food groups either. And somehow, not sure how, that passed as a meal. Not only that there is no more peanut butter...argh! What am I supposed to do??? And, get this...no cereal! There is no more cereal! I'm in deep water here. Those are my two main food groups.
And I'm craving pretzels. That is all.
